Activity: Students can make their own 'Tajweed Traffic' signs.
This can be used to test students.
A sign is pointed to and student should be able to relate what it means.

These cards can be held up or passed around the class. Students can guess which letters of the alphabet are in congruence with each flashcard. The wording and picture can be stuck back to back, if desired.

This is very helpful for beginners.
Before teaching them how to read words, it is good to teach these for 2 weeks or so, enabling it to be imbedded in the mind. Thorough testing on these will speed up the learning process and progress will be much faster, with the bounty of Allah.

I didn't find the Arabic name for the 2nd type of Dhamma which is called 'Ulta Pesh' in South Asia. This means 'upside down/other way round Dhamma' and that's how I've tried to translate it into Arabic.
